Boat Slips- Carolina Lakes POA currently has 24 Boat Slips at the Marina that can be rented to residents. Marina Boat Slip rental agreements are paid annually running from January 1st through December 31st. All rentals are good for one year and then they must be renewed. This rental agreement is NOT transferrable. Rental agreements are "Pro Rated" regarding when the agreement is accepted. NO refunds are issued for partial year usage. Residents interested in renting a boat slip can visit the POA office to obtain and complete the contract with a check. If no slips are available you will be put on a waiting list in order of date requested.
Clubhouse-The Carolina Lakes Clubhouse is located at 91 Clubhouse Drive, Sanford, NC 27332. The clubhouse is available for rental by Carolina Lakes Property Owners and Sanctioned Clubs by calling 919-499-9122. A reservation is required.
Disc Golf Course-The Carolina Lakes Disc Golf Course is a 9-hole course, located next to the Clubhouse. All holes are a par 3. For more information, download the free U-Disc app!
Marina, Man-Made Beach and Lakes- The marina offers two pavilions that are available for use, pending reservations. There is also a man-made beach with volleyball nets set up in the sand. Many residents have their own boats and enjoy family time on the water swimming, water skiing, jet-skiing, or kayaking.
Fitness/Nature Trail- This trail is located across the street from the Clubhouse and is approximately 1 mile in length. The trail meanders through the forests, over a creek and down to a lake. There are also four fitness stations around the loop.
Swimming Pool- Our large swimming pool is located to the rear of the clubhouse. The facilities are managed by Lee Pools and residents can pick up an amenities access card at the POA office.
Scott Dyer Memorial Field- We have a large athletic field behind the clubhouse for baseball, softball, soccer, and other community events.
Sports Courts- Near the clubhouse you will find a basketball court, tennis court, and two pickleball courts. No reservation is required.
Storage Area- We offer a secured storage area for boats, RV's, etc. If you would like to be added to the storage area waiting list, please contact the Carolina Lakes POA office.
