WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL SITE FOR CAROLINA LAKES PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION
Carolina Lakes is a gated community of approximately 1,700 homes (Deed Restrictions Apply). The Association has approximately 17 miles of "private" paved roads and is best known for our Lakes: Crystal, Diamond, Mirror, Sapphire, Silver, Ski Lake, and Lake Carolina (the main lake-approximately 240 acre) with two marina pavilions.
Many of our residents enjoy boating, kayaking, and Golf, as well as woodsy feel of our community. Our diverse community includes active duty military, civilian contractors, retirees and a multitude of school age kids.

Roads Project, Phase 2: Milling & Paving
We are excited to announce that Phase 2 of the Roads Project is ready to begin. As a reminder, Phase 1 consisted of the culvert replacements, Phase 2 will include milling and paving, and Phase 3 will conclude with roadway striping. All work in this phase is limited to Carolina Way and Carolina Lakes Road.
Construction Schedule
Weather permitting, construction will begin July 30th. Work will start at the dam entrance at the back of Deer Haven and progress toward Coachman Way. Carolina Lakes Road will be milled and paved next, which may temporarily impact the operational function of our entrance gates. We are coordinating with technicians and Southern Protection Agency to minimize disruptions until underground gate components can be replaced following the road work. Existing speed bumps along these roads will be removed. They will be replaced with speed humps or speed cushions (TBD) after paving is complete. Placement may be adjusted to improve roadway safety.

This phase is expected to take 2–3 weeks, with active construction zones reduced to one lane of traffic at a time.
Work Hours & Traffic Control
- Contractor work hours will be between 7:00–8:00 AM for start time and will conclude by 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday only.
- The contractor will have traffic control in place throughout the project.
