Schools and Bus Stops
Public Schools:
The students of Carolina Lakes attend Harnett County Schools.

- Middle School - Highland Middle School
- High School - Overhills High School
Private Schools:
There are several private schools in the surrounding areas (Fayetteville and Sanford); Fayetteville Christian, Village Christian Academy, Grace Christian, and MINA. Bus transportation is available in the community for Grace Christian School and MINA Charter School.

There are four bus stop locations within Carolina Lakes. These stops are located at the Marina, Clubhouse, Deer Haven Park, and the Clearwater Harbour Entrance. Parents / Guardians should also check with the appropriate school to confirm which location your student is assigned to. Marina Bus Stop Rules
Vehicle Parking:
1) No parking within 30 feet of the school bus.
2) Park along the fence by Carolina Way in the parking lot.
3) No passing school buses (With or without blinking lights).
4) No vehicle can leave until the school bus has left.
5) No vehicle can enter the Marina parking lot when a school bus is in the parking lot.
6) No parking in the center of the Marina parking lot between 6:30-8:30a & 2:30-4:30p.
Student Parking of Golf Carts:
1) Park golf carts along the fence next to the beach. Do not park in handicap parking spaces.
2) Walk along the fence to go to the school bus. Do not walk in the parking lot.
